Trish Belford and her team at Re/Max Quinte Ltd. have decided to continue sharing various  “Do-It-Yourself” tips with you.  We’d like to help you prevent any unnecessary injuries that could have been prevented with a few helpful hints.

Today’s tip is to DRESS PROPERLY…

- Wear long sleeves and pants.

- Use the safety gear the professionals do: gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, a hard hat may even be necessary when you’re working on certain projects.

- Proper footwear is important – choose footwear suited to the task at hand; running shoes are well suited when you’re painting, if you’re handling lumber or drywall, steel-toed work boots are the better – and safer – choice.  And, always lace up!  (Tripping is surprisingly a frequent cause of injury.)
