“Sales continue to remain strong buoyed by a record breaking end of 2009. January 2010 was the 7th straight month we saw an increase in sales from the previous year. The Canadian Real Estate Association, which represents 98,000 REALOTRS® across Canada, is predicting a record year of MLS® home sales nationally, led by the province of Ontario. Annual activity in the Quinte area should see MLS® sales remaining strong by offering affordable pricing coupled with a great place to live. Low interest rates are also expected to boost housing demand in the first half of 2010.”
